Report of the cycle of conferences on breastfeeding, in Portugal, held as part of the celebrations of World Breastfeeding Week, 2015.
The report was made by the main speaker, the distinguished guest Dr Marcus Renato de Carvalho do Brasil, pediatrician, professor of Pediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine of UFRJ, lactation consultant at IBLC, editor of the website www.aleitamento.com.
The activities were coordinated by Professor Adriana Pereira (editor of this website) and Dr Cristina Pincho, counting on the valuable collaboration of the institutions where the events took place.
Due to the quality of the speaker, the diversity of the topics covered and the number of participants joining and participating in the debates, we can consider the results of these activities as very positive.
